Essential 8 – simply good!

Essential 8 - eight very healthy basic ingredients for dogs, which together create a balanced dog menu with a delicious aroma and fine taste. The basis is the combination of two valuable types of meat or fish & meat, combining the best of two protein sources. For example, tender chicken meets tasty horse or juicy beef meets low-fat chicken, while chicken and turkey come together to create a succulent meat base for poultry lovers. New to the Essential 8 range is the combination of succulent chicken and high quality, delicious salmon.

The meat is followed by six other wonderful ingredients. Energy-rich millet is joined by a classic selection from the local garden and orchard: Crunchy carrots, mild courgettes and vitamin-packed apples provide natural nutrients that not only taste great but also help support a healthy immune system. Fine rapeseed oil provides essential fatty acids, which are important for a dog's skin, coat, immune system and digestion. Fat is also essential for the absorption of essential fat-soluble vitamins.

The Essential 8 also includes the superfood coconut flour. High in fibre, free from gluten, phytic acid and cholesterol, and low in fat, it combines all the good qualities of a healthy ingredient. As a source of essential amino acids, coconut flour is also a healthy source of protein for dogs.

Native herbs complete the 'Essential 8': Thyme, chervil and sage are not only highly aromatic but also rich in natural vitamins, minerals, fibre and phytonutrients.
